Tax Advisor Fee Regulation (StBVV)
The remuneration for the work of tax consultants is regulated by law in the StBVV. This regulation ensures that fees are fair, transparent and reasonable. The fee depends on the type and scope of the work, the transaction value, time spent and responsibility.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fees
Q:How is the fee for a tax return calculated?
A: The fee is based on the level of your income (transaction value) in accordance with the StBVV. Depending on the effort and complexity of the tax return, an appropriate fee rate is applied. We are happy to provide you with a transparent cost estimate in advance.
Q:Are there additional costs beyond the fee?
A: VAT (19%) is added to the fee. Expenses such as postage, travel costs or fees for official information are invoiced separately, but only to a minor extent. We will inform you in advance of all costs incurred.
Q:Can I deduct the fee for tax purposes?
A: Yes! Fees for tax consulting are tax-deductible in many cases. For businesses, the costs are fully deductible as business expenses. Private individuals can claim the costs of preparing their tax return as income-related expenses or special expenses.
Q:Are there discounts for new clients or multiple mandates?
A: We offer fair and legally compliant prices in accordance with the StBVV. For extensive mandates or family consultations (e.g. multiple tax returns), we can often use synergies through efficient processing and thus work more cost-effectively. Please feel free to ask us about this!
Q:How and when do I have to pay the fee?
A: Invoicing generally takes place upon completion of the service. For extensive projects or monthly support, advance payments are common.
Q:What happens if the work turns out to be more extensive than expected?
A: Transparency is important to us. If it becomes apparent during processing that the effort is higher than initially calculated, we will inform you immediately and discuss how to proceed.
